GLOBI is a Latin American business group with a real operation at both ends of the chain: our people in China picking and inspecting machines, and our people in Latin America looking after the buyer in their language and their time zone.

Who we are

Shanghai GLOBI Heavy Machinery Group Limited is the group's international trading arm. Negotiation with manufacturers, machine inspection and shipping coordination all run from Shanghai.

The group's base, GLOBI International, is in Quito. That is where the Latin American buyer is looked after: the enquiry comes in in Spanish and is answered by someone who understands how importing works in the region, with nothing lost in translation along the way.

We work with construction companies, contractors, importers and machinery dealers across construction, mining, civil works and earthmoving.
